environmental policy
This policy applies to Adtec Consultancy Limited, the UK based premedia, digital asset management and transfer specialist company. We recognise that all our activities interact with the environment and are committed to minimising any adverse impacts and improving process efficiency. In particular, this is achieved through our commitment to:
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations
- Review the environmental impacts of our activities
- Strive for improvement in environmental performance through identifying objectives and setting targets
- Employ best practice to minimise pollution and waste and maximise the efficient use of resources
- Involve employees and contractors in our environmental programmes and provide training where required
- Engage in dialogue with suppliers and distributors to encourage their participation in environmental best practice
Every employee has responsibility to help meet the requirements of this policy and all are invited to contribute ideas for better practice. The Company environmental policy is audited annually by the Adtec Consultancy Limited health, safety and environmental manager in order to:
- Benchmark performance throughout the Company
- Help sites identify and prioritise issues for improvement
- Ensure legal compliance
- Provide a framework to review our environmental objectives and update this policy when required
The results and audits are communicated directly to the Managing Director and appropriate action is taken.
